Come and experience the Viking Age for yourself

At Moesgaard Viking Days you can experience the Viking Age anew - intimately and up close. As an audience, as a guest, you are completely invited in. You can explore an authentic marketplace and experience how the people of the Viking Age worked with their crafts, shopped, told legends and sagas, cooked, and experienced their music, all on your own. You can listen, taste, smell, try, play and feel your way through a Viking camp full of experiences and lots of impressions and activities.

When? 25 to 28 July 2024
Where? Fiskermarken. Parking at Skovmøllen (follow the signs towards the parking lot from the museum), note: small walk through the forest. The event does not take place at Moesgaard Museum's museum building.
At what time? Viking Days is open from 10.00 to 17.00 every day.
Price: DKK 195 for adults, DKK 50 for children and young people aged 3-17. Children under three are free and do not require a ticket.

The ticket for Moesgaard Viking Days also gives access to Moesgaard Museum on the same day.

There are a limited number of tickets for sale per day.

Please note that not all stalls accept all forms of payment. Therefore, there are stalls that do not accept cash, whereas others only accept cash. Therefore remember different means of payment.
