Join our guided tour under the open sky, where we tell the fascinating history of the Vikings: warriors, kings, raids, and religion – and the rise of the city of Aros, known today as Aarhus. On this guided tour, we take you back to a time when Denmark was united for the first time under Harald Bluetooth, Christianity was established, and Aros emerged as an important city by the Baltic Sea.

The tour starts in Moesgaard’s foyer, continues down the roof, and ends at the stave church. Expect stunning views, fascinating insights, and Viking stories for both children and adults.

Practical information

Meeting point: the foyer.
Price: 60 DKK for adults, 30 DKK children under 18.
The tour does not require a ticket to the museum, as we are not entering the exhibition area.
The tour is not suitable for people with walking difficulties or strollers, since we will be going down the steep roof.
Remember to bring waterproof clothing in case of rain.
